Because geographic
limitations affected movement in two directions (the Prussian border just to the west; the
huge Biebrza marshlands
just to the East) a lot of Szczuczyn families married and/or migrated along a
thin corridor. Many Szczuczyners had at least one direct ancestral root in
Radzilow, who at some point moved, for either marriage or economic
reasons (to the larger town of Szczuczyn). |
